Benefits of Membership

Our membership comes together and addresses critical needs and challenges faced by camps in Illinois. The Guild provides its members with an opportunity to:

• Have a strong voice in effecting legislative change that benefits the camping industry
• Position ourselves to address emerging camp industry needs
• Impact State of Illinois mandates
• Share best practices

Membership Categories

There are two categories of members:

Category 1: Illinois Camps

All camps, regardless of size and type, can become a member. These members will have voting rights in the Guild.

Category 2: Interested Parties

All entities, other than camps, who have an interest in the ability to effect change in the way the camp industry operates, such as associations and other organizations, vendors and individuals. These members will have no voting rights in the Guild.

Membership Fees

Category 1: Illinois Camps

The membership fee equals $1.00 for each $1,000.00 in gross revenue.
Minimum fee: $250.00 Maximum fee: $2,500.00

For example:

Gross revenue of $250,000 or less = $250.00 membership fee
Gross revenue of $500,000 = $500.00 membership fee
Gross revenue over 2,500,000.00 or above = $2,500.00 membership fee

Category 2: Interested Parties

Membership fee for this category is $250.00

How to Join

It is easy to join the Guild. Complete the membership application on-line. Then, mail a check for the membership fee to:
